Michael Silva with Solano County community members

A Mega-City on Solano County Farmland? AI Data Centers in Our Backyard?

Out-of-town billionaires are trying to change Solano County's character with giant projects that could mean a new city, AI data centers, or battery electric storage systems.

Who we elect to the Board of Supervisors will determine what projects are allowed, and whether we protect our water and prime agricultural land for the next generation.

For six years on Vacaville's City Council, Dr. Michael Silva has asked the tough questions of developers, making sure that new projects fit our needs, not what helps corporate bank accounts.

That's why Solano County Farm Bureau, the Solano County Orderly Growth Committee, and elected officials across the political spectrum trust Michael to make the decisions that will determine this land's future for our children.

Michael Silva

“I won't be a rubber stamp for out-of-town billionaires as they try to change Solano County's character.”

Michael Silva

A Voice for the People of Solano County

A lifelong Solano County resident, Michael Silva is a Vacaville City Councilmember, biotechnology professor, scientist, and former School Board Member. As a coach, Scout leader, and mentor, he has spent years helping young people learn, lead, and care for their community.

On the Board of Supervisors, Michael will work with city councils, school boards, farmers, and state partners to put Solano County residents first.

Michael and his wife are raising two sons who attend Vacaville public schools. He wants every Solano child to grow up with clean water, local farms, open spaces, and a hometown where neighbors work together and still know one another.
